Live-tweeting 1994's Purdue-Kansas Sweet 16 Matchup

Our Purdue Boilermakers and the Kansas Jayhawks seem to always meet deep during their March Madness runs. While most people vividly remember the second round losses in 2012 (the Hummel game) and 1997 (Chad Austin/Brad Miller vs Paul Pierce/Raef LaFrentz), the one that Purdue love to rewatch over and over again is the 1994 Sweet 16 matchup.

Yup, the night Glenn Robinson (44 points) and Cuonzo Martin (29 points) led Gene Keady and the #1-seeded Boilermakers to the Elite Eight, edging out Roy Williams' #4-seeded Kansas Jayhawks.

As the Big Ten Network loves this game, and it's available free on the Youtube machine (with the commercials and everything), I decided to live-tweet it. Spoiler alert, if you're a Purdue fan that somehow hasn't seen this game: 23 years later, and turnovers are still Purdue's bane of existence.

Steve Woodberry, Greg Ostertag and the fourth-seeded Kansas Jayhawks, take on All-American and 1994 Top NBA Draft Pick - Glenn Robinson, future Tennessee Head Coach - Cuonzo Martin and the top-seeded Purdue Boilermakers, in NCAA Southeast Regional Semifinal action. Game played on Thursday, March 24, 1994, at Thompson-Boiling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee.
