Details of the Purdue men's basketball Big Ten schedule were recently released so for those of you planning to visit me in NJ for Purdue-Rutgers, you can begin making your plans. The Boilers visit scenic Piscataway, NJ on Monday, January 18, which also happens to be MLK Day. The Boilers do not visit Penn State this season so for those of you in the East, you'll have to either hit that NJ visit or Pittsburgh on Dec 1 (Aneesh is hosting), Maryland on Feb 6 (which should be yoooooge), or the lesser known and oddly wordy "Basketball Hall of Fame Tip Off Tournament" at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut the weekend before Thanksgiving.

And for additional fun links for your Saturday morning perusal, check out Raphael Davis' big expectations for the upcoming season in a very nice piece by Pete DiPrimio.

As an aside, you might think ESPN would have the most up-to-date schedule info on college basketball teams since they pride themselves on their CBB coverage, but you'd be wrong. Here's how Purdue's schedule currently looks according to ESPN.com:
