"Gold and Black Days" Coming to BTN
As you no doubt heard if you've been obsessively reviewing Twitter during Big Ten Media Days, Purdue football will be the subject of a Hard Knocks style training came TV show called Gold and Black Days on BTN. (For Comcast subscribers, we'll try to describe it with easels and markers and stuff.)
According to this article from the J&C, "Gold and Black Days — an inside look inside Purdue's training camp — will debut Aug. 14 and run for four weeks up until the season's first week."
Given that Purdue's season starts two weeks later, I'm not sure what calendar is being used, but hey, maybe it'll be on twice a week? Who knows! BTN sure isn't promoting it on their site. Good work, as always, BTN. Let's just all agree to watch it together on Twitter.
Rumor has it, though, that this was considered under Coach Hazell and the working title was only slightly different -- Gold and Black Daze.
Thank you, be sure to tip your waitress. (Hey, it's July -- these are the jokes you get. They're minicamp level jokes.)
