Ross-Ade Enhancements Continue

Purdue continues to make good on their commitment to keep the Purdue football facilities current and competitive in today’s CFB landscape. Obviously, we all know about the new $60M practice facility, but it’s not just the big things that make a difference and it’s nice to see the administration recognizing that.

Earlier this month, pics began circulating of the new paint job on the exterior of the Stadium. I know it’s just paint and lettering, but damn if the blackout look and the motion P don’t get me amped up.

In addition, they’re working towards waking up the neighbors during those night games (someone get Morgan Burke some noise-cancelling headphones) by installing a state of the art sound system. Also within that article by the always great Mike Carmin is detail on the improvements to the playing surface as well.

Purdue has a real football program again and it seems to have all happened to fast. Of course, when your descent is basically a decade long, slow-motion pratfall, anything feels quicker. It’s hard to believe just four years ago Purdue football was being dropped as a varsity sport.

Less than 75 days to kickoff. Choo choo.
