The Shop has partnered with The Tyler Trent Cancer Research Endowment Fund to raise money for the Purdue Cancer Research Center.  They will be selling licensed Purdue t-shirts featuring the tagline "The Spirit of Purdue" and the hashtag #tylerstrong.  

"The Spirit of Purdue" is the nickname of the Reamer Club.  They are tasked with operating the Boilermaker Special and developing school spirit.  Over the past 14 months Tyler's love of Purdue and positive outlook while fighting Osteosarcoma has brought that spirit to the national spotlight.  Fans of Purdue in addition to sports fans across the country have put aside their differences to support Tyler and his fighting spirit.

The Purdue University Center for Cancer Research brings together the best minds from within Purdue University and beyond to study cancers where they start — inside the cell.  Their work leads to the advancement of new medicines, early detection and diagnostic methods, more effective treatments, and highly efficient drug delivery systems.

The Shop is an Indianapolis based company that creates unique apparel for fans of pro and college sports, local pop culture, and civic pride.  Shirts will be available for purchase at their two brick & mortar locations (920 Broad Ripple Ave & Clay Terrace Mall) this week as well as online at www.theshopindy.com immediately.

Basically, if you buy a Spirit of Purdue Tylerstrong shirt from The Shop, they’re donating the proceeds to The Tyler Trent Cancer Research Endowment Fund.
